It's very similar to The Ring, because it's based on phone calls, a 'cycle' that passes on, and the main character and her accomplice do so much research, to find an unexpected loophole-type thing, and where the main character surprisingly is saved from death more than once. It related to The Grudge, because it is a curse passed on through two dead people, but in the end, the main character unexpectedly is saved from death. It was a Japanese horror film, relating to both of the movies. Although this material was somewhat original, I thought it was much like The Ring and The Grudge. I also appreciated the setting of the foster home, and how Detective Andrews surprisingly found another earlier mentioned Nanny Camera, leading to more clues.

And I liked how they thought it was Marie Layton who killed her child and started the curse, but in the end, they figure out it was the daughter who was evil, and the mother didn't know that she died because she had an asthma attack and she was locked in her room for torturing her sister, so she had no way of hearing it. I loved how everything connected, and each time someone got a call, another connection was noticed. Mouth, which is another mysterious connection.
